Who is the most overrated writer in the history of written language? No one is off limits.

There are no winners when it comes to Mets No-Hitters. My favorite is Adam's because it captures this fact effectively. But there are no winners.
Adam: Sure they will...unfortunately, it will come in a loss during a losing streak when their offense is failing them, and most people won't even realize it happened. Oliver Perez will do it in June 2008. The opponent's leadoff hitter will reach on an error on the first pitch of the game, then steal second and reach third on a wild pitch. He'll score on a sac fly later in the first inning. The Mets will have their chances by logging 7 hits themselves, but will go 0 for the game with runners in scoring position. It'll be like a few years ago when Tanyon Sturtze had more complete games than wins when he was with the Devil Rays.

i think that the most overrated writer would have to be the collection of authors of the bible. the king james version. it isn't like they made that stuff up. they were copying.. and they still changed it as they saw fit. best seller though.
Dean Koontz. Because he thinks he's a writer and apparently other people agree that his drivel qualifies as writing. I could take a dump on a piece of paper and it would be a better book than anything he's ever written.
Shakespeare. There, I said it. My life would be just as complete if I didn't have to read his drivel throughout High School and College. Hate the language, the prose, and the double-meaning bullshit. I'd have much rather spent that time reading literature by Ernest Hemingway, Raymond Chandler or the writers at Playboy.
God's the most overrated writer ever. I mean, he's the one who dictated the Bible right? So that means he's the fuckin genius who came up with shit like masturbation or premarital sex as sins.
Fuck that...anyone taking that stance is severely overrated.
i know this is late but your all fucking stupid the right anwser is that Moore asshole or whatever because all his shit is a compalation of truths, half-truths, and flat out lies, losing him his credibility to anyone that can think for themselves. He is not only read but has also been the cause of at least two movies, clearly demonstrating his mass popularity even if it is an inept audience. hence, he is the most overrated "writer" (if you can call him that).
